Painting for Pollinators
Join us at Clay and Kiln in West Brighton, Staten Island, as we paint pottery for pollinators! Several items will be available to choose from, both functional (like mugs) and decorative. We'll also have some awesome raffles and door prizes! Light refreshments will be available, as well as some wine if you'd like to sip while you paint!
This event will benefit The Bee Conservancy, a nonprofit that protects all bees, safeguards the environment, and builds communities and food justice. The Bee Conservancy provides and maintains the honeybee hives at the Staten Island Zoo. Earlier this spring, they also gifted the Zoo with two native bee houses, which can be seen in the pollinator garden.
