Dances of Winter
Dance Project Saint Louis and Common Thread Contemporary Dance Company return to the Foundry Art Centre in Old St. Charles on Sunday, December 15th at 7:30 pm for an evening of music and dance to welcome the changing of the seasons. Guest musician Aaron Burlbaw provides pre-show entertainment as part of this winter tradition that features Dance Project's Youth Performance Ensemble and includes Common Thread's powerful and moving "The Christmas Truce", the story of the 1914 Christmas Day on which opposing soldiers in World War I laid down their arms to come together in celebration.
