Shakespeare Royal Oak A Midsummer Night's Dream
Celebrate 20 years in the park as Shakespeare Royal Oak presents "A Midsummer Night's Dream" August 5-8 in Starr Jaycee Park, the same show that opened its premiere season in August 2001.
This year Michigan's premier outdoor professional Shakespeare festival will take you on a magical Summer of Love adventure with one of Shakespeare's most beloved comedies.
Purchase a lawn ticket & bring a blanket or lawn chair with you - or grab a bleacher ticket to rise above the crowd. Either way you're in for a beautiful time under the stars at the area's most unique outdoor theatre experience.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to additional health & safety measures we are taking, you MUST purchase a ticket for the performance you wish to attend. Your ticket is only valid for the performance date and time purchased. This has changed from past years.
UPDATED NOTE REGARDING SOLD OUT PERFORMANCES
We are so excited to have such a great response to our return to the park! Sales have been so strong for our evening 8pm shows that we have reached the number of lawn tickets we feel will enable our fans to have a great, and safe, experience at the show.
On Saturday & Sunday evenings, you are welcome to come see if we have any additional space on the lawn or in our bleachers on the night of the show. However we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate you. You may be asked to wait until close to the performance time.
For FRIDAY night we are sold out of all seating areas.
There is plenty of seating still available for our Saturday 2pm performance.
To guarantee your seat, we suggest purchasing that show if you can.
