Prohibition
1920-1933 was a time in America's past that changed the trajectory of the alcohol industry worldwide along with creating countless outlaws, secret distilleries, and wild stories that forever live in our countrys history. The effect of prohibition rippled throughout not just the world at that time but through the future of liquor and cocktails in our restaurants and bars. This class will go over not just this fascinating period, but the cocktails and spirits that survived the prohibition as well as what it changed in the years that followed. As always, there will be hands-on cocktail making/drinking and the stories behind how they came to be.
