Short Play Festival 2013
Open Hydrant, the first Equity Ensemble theatre company in the Bronx, located at The Point, presents it inaugural short play festival. Ten plays selected from playwrights across the country will be directed and preformed by members of Open Hydrant. Three plays will be chosen and given a full Equity production during Open Hydrant's 2013-2014 season. Urban Waves is a new division of Open Hydrant. Come and experience the inception of a unique brand of theatre in an enriched community and creative environment. Open Hydrant is committed to developing new voices that will reverberate throughout the community, and the world. We ask you to come and share this new experience with us, over drinks, food, laughter and earnest discourse.

1. Caliban's Island by Sarah Rosenberg. With: Norberto Troncoso, Tosh Hall, Matthew Casarez, Debrah Pautler and Tiffany McLarty.

2. Battle Rattle of the Republic by John Rosenberg. With: Caroline Harris and John Herron.
Directed By Luis Reyes Cardenas.
3. For the Good of the Child by Alex Aguirre With: Jamej Lawton, Katie Fogarty, Elliot Bryant and Tosh Hall.
Directed by Alex Aguirre.
4. Fixing Suzie by Katherine H. Burkman. With: Roger Gonzalez, Jay Awesome, Gina Stevensen.
Directed by J. Moliere.
5. Soldier Boy by Joseph Hanrahan With: Nikesha Martin, Freddie Vazquez Rodriguez, Durell Arrington, Susan Montez and Norberto Troncoso.

6. Don't Look by Lynn Snyder. With: Chloe Brooks and Michael Muldoon.
Directed by Durell Arington.
7. Once in a Lifetime by Joseph Clark. With: Tristan Schaffer-Goldman and Billy Berger Bailey.
