QiMotion: Insight 2020

Let's Dance!

I started this set in December of 2019 to play in April of 2020. The songs just leapt out at me, and the set built itself, almost as if being channeled. Turns out, I cancelled that dance because of Covid and ended up coming down with Covid myself a few days later.

When I listened to it to polish it off and get it ready to play, I was stunned at how eerily in alignment this dance journey feels to the actual journey that was 2020.

Needless to say, it's a powerful set, strangely intense and gentle at the same time. I'm so looking forward to sharing it with you!

Logistics:

Attendance: Limited to no more than 11 dancers including me.

Pre-requisite: Prior Ecstatic Dance experience. (At least once.)

Admission: $15 SharePay, which means you can choose your price. If needed, pay less. If you can, pay more and help cover those who can't.

Sliding scale/donation tickets will be available if you are interested in reserving your spot. Details to be posted in the next day or so.

Walk-ins will be welcome until we reach our limit.

We will start sign-in at 6:45 and open the doors at 7:00 with opening circle at 7:15. Masks will be required throughout the Elks building, but not required during the journey. During opening circle we will each state our social distancing preferences, and there should be plenty of room to maintain a 6 distance should anyone prefer that.

The expectation is that everyone in attendance is to be confident of their immunity status and their assessment of the risks associated with Covid 19 exposure. You will be expected to behave responsibly and respectfully of everyones personal distancing preferences. Please feel free to call me, 928.225.1655, if you have any questions or concerns.
