Cyrano de Bergerac
Professional Performing Arts School and Waterwell present
Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand translated by Carol Clark directed by Lee Sunday Evans produced by Dina Vovsi
One of the world's most famous and beloved tales, Cyrano de Bergerac centers on the unlikeliest of love triangles. In this contemporary, gender-bending take, lady Cyrano hides her secret love for her childhood friend Roxbert - convinced that he'll never be able to see past her enormous nose. When Roxbert falls hard for the beautiful tongue-tied Christine, Cyrano lends her legendary flair for words to the lines and letters Christine uses to win Roxbert's heart. The play that gave us the word panache takes us on a timeless adventure complete with romance, sacrifice and derring-do.
