A perfect intro to the art of the STRIP and the TEASE!
In this class we will cover (and uncover) every tantalizing tenet of burlesque. Students will learn the essentials to creating a successful striptease for the boudoir and beyond. We will create a character, cover the body of vintage burlesque movements, play with poses and postures, and flirt with facial expressions.
This workshop is open to all regardless of gender, orientation, or relationship status.
Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes they can move in. Gloves and boas are not required, but do feel free to bring things that you feel sexy in.
Workshop attendees also get a 15% discount on regular store merchandise while they're at the workshop.
Taught by The Shanghai Pearl- an international Burlesque performer celebrated for her sensational costumes, sizzling performances, and outrageous humor. She has traveled widely to perform and teach with frequent features in San Francisco, New York, and Paris. She brings her love for theatricality, broad humor, and glamour to her teaching, pushing her students to take their performances to higher levels.
