We are inviting you to work with our staff while we spend Earth Day sprucing up the demonstration plantings at our office property and planting tomatoes in our GRACE garden!
Volunteers will have their choice of the following: 1) Working in the GRACE Garden grow food for the foodbank. Theres always something to harvest or transplant in our productive and beautiful GRACE garden. 2) Enhancing the pollinator habitat were cultivating, by pulling weeds, spreading mulch and adding plants to our native perennial garden and hedgerow.
Please bring: -Weather appropriate clothing. It may be cold. -Water-proof boots or shoes. -Snacks and water -Be ready to get dirty!
Covid safety will be our first priority. We will be working socially distanced outside. Hand sanitizer, masks, and sanitary gloves will be available.
Help us at our event in the morning, afternoon, or all day. We will be offering tours of our property, where youll have an opportunity to learn about composting, cisterns, pollinator habitat, food gardening and more. This event is FREE. RSVP using Brown Paper Tickets.
