PlaceRace Taste Test: South Lake Union - A fundraiser for 911 Seattle Media Arts
Armed with a map of South Lake Union teams will race against the clock as they attempt to complete a variety of creative and clue-base challenges inside 911 Seattle Media Arts Center and around the South Lake Union Neighborhood.
This PlaceRace Beta "Taste Test" will raise funds for 911 and act as a beta test of larger PlaceRace activities that will occur throughout the year in South Lake Union.
Become a PlaceRace TEAM by collecting four people that are ready to walk, run, and have fun no matter the weather. Your suggested donation of $50.00 gets you into play during the Saturday December 20th race as you vie for big bragging rights and small prizes.
Become a PlaceRace SPONSOR by funding operating costs, donating prizes, and highlighting your business along the PlaceRace course.
Your team will Race around the Place for approximately three hours, with prizes awarded after the event. This PlaceRace will be run as a "rally", with sets of teams starting at staggered times throughout the day.
Current start times are 10AM, 11AM, 12PM, and 1PM.
All donations are tax deductible, and 911 will provide a letter stating your donation amount upon request.
