Event

Comedians Rick D'Elia and Adam Stone
Originally from Boston, Rick has been a recurring sketch performer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno whose keen observational humor & quick wit lead him to the finals in the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition.  People are talking about this kid.  So what's the latest buzz?

"Never heard of him." -- Film critic Jeffery Lyons

"Never heard of him." --Rick's father

"If 'funny' is someone who leaves beer cans all over the house and uses the f-word in front of his mother, then I'd say yes, he's very funny!"Rick's mother

"As long as he stays the required 500 yards away at all times, I don't give a rat's ass what he does!"Rick's ex-girlfriend

While maintaining that 500 yard limitation, Rick has appeared on other TV shows such as Comedy Centrals Stand-up Stand-up, Comedians Unleashed, UPNs Grand Slam Comedy Jam, and GSN/National Lampoons Funny Money.  He has headlined numerous clubs all across the country and entertained our troops in Japan, Korea, Bahrain, and Germany.

On the side, Rick also performs in a comedy duo called Hits & Giggles with fellow stand-up Adam Stone.  Their show combines stand-up comedy, inane banter, music, and song parodies that draw upon material from the 1960s right up to present day.  You might call them a modern cross between The Smothers Brothers and Cheech & Chong (without the bong water).

Off-stage, Rick recently produced the Italian-American comedy/doc film Stand-Up Guys; scheduled for release in the fall of 2008.  In 2006 this life-long wicked die-hahd Red Sox aficionado had his first book published.  How to Talk to a Yankee Fan a tongue-in-cheek look at the rivalry between the Yankees and the rest of America, is available at Barnes & Noble, airport kiosks, supermarkets, Amazon, as well as back rooms of every comedy club & one-nighter Rick performs at around the country.
