THE MAN WHO WAS THURSDAY adapted by Neal Bell from the novel by G.K. Chesterton
December 6-21, 539 Muze (Foster St., next to the Durham Central Park Farmer's Market)
In the bowels of Edwardian London, Agent Gabriel Syme is hunting for a syndicate of anarchists who name themselves after days of the week. When "Thursday" is killed Syme takes his place, never imagining the horrific plot proposed by their kingpin, Sunday.
A potboiler with big ideas that land like James Bond shooting his way out of a Charles Dickens novel.
Performed by an all-female cast in male drag including: Jessica Flemming, Molly Forlines, Susannah Hough, Tamara Kissane, Kyma Lassiter, Dana Marks, Caitlin Wells, & Laurie Wolf.
Designed by Laura Bilski, Chelsea Kurtzman, Adam Lindquist, & Steve Tell.
Directed by Jay O'Berski
