The winter holiday season offers a wealth of opportunities for nonprofit organizations for easy fundraising - opportunities not available during the rest of the year.

In this workshop you will learn about:

1)  5 simple, under-utilized holiday fundraising
   strategies,

2)  how to make them work best for your organization,

3)  how you can raise money without sacrificing your  
   long winter's nap.

Cost:  $12
When:  Thursday November 7th, from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

        get food (affordably priced, vegetarian options  
        available) and/or beverages.

About instructor: Lisa is a consultant to nonprofit organizations, with over 20 years of experience in fundraising, public relations, and community organizing.

In addition to consulting, Lisa's work includes:  

producing and/or teaching numerous fundraising and other nonprofit workshops throughout Puget Sound, including a six-day series with the Gill Foundation, and workshops at The Evergreen State College, UW, and Highline and South Seattle Community Colleges;

writing about nonprofit and related topics, which has appeared in publications like: the Puget Sound Business Journal, The Seattle Times, Crosscut, The Stranger SLOG, Seattle Gay News,  the Tacoma News Tribune, Op Ed News, the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun Times; and

directing winning organizing campaigns - i.e. to improve response in Chicago's 8th Police District to 911 domestic violence calls, and to increase the number of units of affordable housing on Chicago's West Side.
