Join McKinney Summer Musicals at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Gather in Downtown McKinney for our ANNUAL BENEFIT.
Eat, drink, and be merry as MSM adult cast members present a reader's theater production of "the Best Christmas Pageant Ever", arranged by Samuel French.
Adapted from Barbara Robinson's classic book of the same name, "the Best Christmas Pageant Ever" is the heartwarming and hilarious story of the Herdmans - "the worst kids in the history of the world." They lie, steal, smoke cigars, swear, and hit little kids. So no one is prepared when this outlaw family invades church one Sunday and decides to take over the annual Christmas pageant.
None of the Herdmans has ever heard the Christmas story before. Their interpretation of the tale has a lot of people up in arms. But it will make this year's pageant the most unusual anyone has seen and, just possibly, the best one ever!
Tickets are $75 per person, and include our special performance, dinner, and wine.
