"A Christmas Memory" is Mr. Capote's memoir and autobiographical story of his childhood in rural Alabama where he lived with distant relatives after having been abandoned by his Mother. Of these 'Relatives' he was closest to Miss Sook Faulk and it is to her ability to find joy despite life's adversities that Mr. Capote pays tribute in this haunting and beautiful story.
