Come Play with Science and Art: Tour the Exploratorium's new home at Pier 15
Join your peers at the heart of the SF waterfront and tour the Exploratorium's new home where "learning happens everywhere". The new nine-acre campus features exhibit galleries, teaching studios, a theater and 1.5-acres of public open space. Take in spectacular views of the Bay Observatory Building and learn about the major engineering feat of refurbishing and seismically upgrading a historic pier that spans the length of almost three football fields over the water. Tinkering, raffle and cocktails to follow.
Tour meets in lobby at 5:00. Private tour is from 5:15-6:00.
Don't forget to bring cash for the 50/50 raffle supporting our annual charity Cypress Mandela. $5 cash/per ticket.
