Basic Platen Press & Cylinder Letterpress Workshop
The best of both worlds! This class is a basic introduction to two types of letterpress printing. Learn basic printing on an electric Chandler and Price platen press and a Vandercook cylinder press. Class size is limited to 10, so please register early to get a spot. Class will consist of both observation and some hands on components. Class is taught by the fabulous Rebecca Peters of Oakland, CA. The class is 4 hours (1-5pm).
-Price of workshop INCLUDES material fee!
-Each student will also be able to take home at least 5 letterpress prints made in class!
-No previous experience is needed!
-Delicious Numi Tea and light snacks will be provided!
