Hitting Cancer off the Track
On October 19th, the Battle Creek Cereal Killers will hit the flat track, taking on the Sandusky Rollergirls from Ohio, in their annual bout against cancer. This will be the second meeting between these two teams with Sandusky one up on Battle Creek. The Cereal Killers will be looking to even the score.
The first bout of this double header will feature the Damzel Dollz and the Buckeye Beautyz junior derby teams. These young skaters may not yet be adults, but their ferocity is not contained by their size.
The main bout will feature the Battle Creek Cereal Killers and the Sandusky Rollergirls.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards cancer research. There will also be an all ages costume contest.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with the first bout starting at 5:30 p.m. The main bout will begin around 7 p.m.
Advance tickets are $10, or $12 at the door. Kids 12 and under are free.
