Edible and Medicinal Plants of the North Bay Region

Join Tellur Fenner, well-known Bay Area clinical herbalist as we explore the trails of Pepperwood while learning about the many amazing and functional plants which grow here. This interdisciplinary program will engage students on all levels through a combination of classroom lecture, field exploration and hands-on exercises identifying plants and discussing their medicinal, edible and utilitarian properties. You will also learn about safety issues including tips on how to avoid toxic and poisonous plants. Enjoy sampling a variety of edible and medicinal plant preparations and more!
