Votes for Women - West Hudson Park, Harrison/Kearny, NJ
It's 1913, and, thousands of women gather in our nation's capital to rally for women's right to vote. While the fight for suffrage has been going on for 60 years, Alice Paul and the National American Woman Suffrage Association, organize the first major national event for the movement.
This 45 minute family-friendly historical play is made possible, in part, by a grant from Hudson County Office of Cultural Affairs. All park performances are and will be organized with social distancing for everyone's safety.
Audience needs to provide their own chair or blanket. Masks are required for all audience members.
