Comedians Huck Flyn and Michael Agostini Rock Marson's
Mid-seventies, Huck Flyn discovered the Comedy Store in Hollywood. Not long after, he started a comedy night of his own bringing Hollywood comics to Thousand Oaks and a few years later, thanks to some of his comedy connections like Marty Cohen and Bruce Baum, he got into stand-up himself. His first gig was opening for The Amazing Jonathon and his second gig was opening for Bill Engvallnot a bad start. Flyn brought his guitar and musical talent into the act and was an instant hit! He has played clubs, colleges and has opened for concerts, The Marshall Tucker Band and Spiro Gyca, to mention a couple. The demand grew and Flyn found himself working the road performing week-long clubs like: Spellbinders in Houston, The Funny Bone in Missouri, Zanies in Nashville and many more. His extensive resume includes The Comedy Underground, The Improve, The Punchline, The Riveria and Tommy Ts. Hes had the pleasure of working with such stars as: Rob Schneider, Elaine Boozler, Margaret Cho, Vic Dunlop, Brad Garrett, Kevin Nealon, Bobby Slayton, Chris Titus, along with music acts such as: Joe Walsh, Eddie Money, 38 Special, Lonestar and Sha Na Na! Presently, Huck works clubs, small concerts, casinos, colleges and wherever theres a Rockin Comedy night!
Mike Agostini was an usher at The Paramount Theater in 1983. That year the finals of The Seattle International Comedy Competition were held at the Paramount. The 23 year old usher briefly talked to that year's champion - Ross Shafer - and a dream was born. For the next 21 years Mike Agostini told himself that one day he would be in the competition! In December of 2004 Mike stopped wishing and went on stage for the first time at the Tacoma Comedy Underground. Since that day he has entertained literally thousands of people with his stand-up. Mike uses his life experiences as the foundation for most of his material. He is extremely likeable and actually appears to be having as much fun as his audience ! Mike is married to his high school sweetheart Kris - 26 years and counting. They have three teenaged children and they own a small commercial painting company in Tacoma. For all of those people who say "someday I am going to.... " Mike Agostini is in the Seattle International Comedy Competition! Thanks Ross.
