As We Live It
In March of 2020, we Ruffians were preparing our summer production, As You Like It. The world asked us to think differently.
So we did.
As We Live It is a piece created collaboratively with the artists of As You Like It, using our collective experiences and thoughts to build a play that digs into with the present moment we are living in. From racism to toilet paper wars to zucchini growing, As We Live It is a celebration of live theatre, a creative compilation of our thoughts on one of the most significant years in recent memory.
An ASL Interpreted performance will take place on Oct 3rd at 4:30pm. Members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community who would like to attend, can email FOH@shakespeareintheruff.com by Oct 1st to receive free tickets.
HOW TO REGISTER:
- To ensure social distancing and adherence to public health recommendations, we are severely limiting capacity for this event. The audience will be divided into five socially distanced "bubbles". Each bubble fits up to four people, who do not follow social distancing guidelines with each other (for example, members of the same household), comfortably.
- When booking, please BOOK ONLY ONE TICKET, as this will constitute one bubble. After choosing your date, you will be asked how many people are in your bubble. In this area, please add your bubble size (1-4 people). In order to fairly distribute limited tickets, we will not allow one person to book multiple bubbles
- After registering, you will receive an email with directions to the performance location, and Ruff's full health and safety protocol. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, please email FOH@shakespeareintheruff.com. Without this email, your registration is invalid.
- A waiting list will be made available. To add your name, please email FOH@shakespeareintheruff.com
Important Information:
- Masks/face coverings are mandatory for this event, and must be worn for the duration of the event.
- As We Live It is a promenade piece. The path is wheelchair accessible, and does move over grass, dirt, and uneven park terrain. We ask individuals to exercise caution, as they would in all city parks.
