A Virtual Cabaret -- celebrating the past, present, and future
Walking on Water Productions (WoW) presents our very first online production: A Virtual Cabaret -- celebrating the past, present, and future! The "past" is highlighted with musical excerpts from WoW's previous productions--GODSPELL, THE FANTASTICKS, and KATRINA, A NEW MUSICAL; the "present" includes surprise musical performances from some of our creative team members; and the "future" is celebrated with a big reveal of what lies in store for WoW's future.
Besides celebrating WoW's story, the cabaret provides audience members with an opportunity to reflect on their own unique individual journeys. In the midst of these challenging and isolating times, we are delighted to offer an outlet of warmth and connection--as well as a space to reminisce about happier times and dream of a horizon paved in peace, hope, and joy.
The show features 26 musical theatre professionals from past and future WoW casts and creative teams: Adara Alston, Emily Aviles, Natasha Bratovski, Jesse Bush*, Jack Cecere, Debbie Cobb, Benjamin Costello, Katie Davis, Sirus Desnoes, Jamie Dye, Joshua Dykes, Erin Fitzpatrick, Cynthia Henderson*, Elias Husiak, Anna Marcus-Hecht, London McDaniel, Kimmi Neucshulz, Alek Osinski, Courtney Ravelo, Bernie Sheredy*, Hector Smith, Benjamin Stevens, Ivy Stevens, Grace Traore, Karen Veaner, and Jaime Warburton (*indicates a member of Actors' Equity Association).
The cabaret creative team includes WoW's founder and producing artistic director, Priscilla Hummel (Director), Benjamin Stevens (Music Director), WoW's marketing director, Mike Carroll (Video Editor), and Anna Marcus-Hecht (Sound Mixer and Production Assistant).
Running time is estimated to be between 60-75 minutes without an intermission.
