Botanical Plein Air Art Class with Jessica Dalrymple
Participants will have the opportunity to capture a sampling of plant life in The Old Stone
House Gardens. Having painted en plein air for almost 20 years Jessica is excited to
share techniques, tips, and knowledge about the practice.
Attendees will also be welcome to sketch or paint the Old Stone House, its trees, or any aspect of Washington Park. Surfaces will be provided and some portable easels will be available. Jessica can
consult on materials ahead of time if needed.
To sustain your attention on a plant is an opportunity to observe closely, make an indelible impression, and inspire a unique expression, and doing so outside brings one in harmony with the nature.
All drawing and painting mediums and skill levels are welcome.
Masks are mandatory and participants will work outside at safe distances.
