31st Annual Evening of Irish Music & Poetry
Frank McCourt will read and discuss his work. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Irish immigrant parents, McCourt spent his childhood in Limerick, Ireland. Angelas Ashes, the first of a trilogy, won the Pulitzer Prize for biography. Tis, and Teacher Man followed.
The second half of the evening includes a concert of traditional Irish reels, ballads, jigs and slow airs and championship stepdancers.
