SFNYC Volunteer Training Session
You've asked for volunteer opportunities helping out at events and sharing your love for Good, Clean, and Fair food in New York City now, here's your opportunity.
Learn about how Slow Food started in Italy, how long SFNYC has been in existence, and how we are living and supporting our mission. Did you know that we support educational programs and gardens in over 13 NYC schools? Did you know that over 100 food establishments have qualified for the Snail of Approval award? Come learn about our latest projects including Urban Harvest, the Slow Food NYC Book & Film Club, and our annual fundraiser: the (s)low down.
Once you have been trained, you will have the opportunity to represent SFNYC and you will be welcome to help plan and run events as well as vet Snail of Approval nominees. You will be the first to hear about volunteer opportunities and you'll receive preference to work these events. Please join us for some training and the opportunity to meet fellow Slow Food supporters.
