Excavation Theater Company
Excavation Theater Company was formed at the beginning of September when curators, Evan Greenberg and Reiko Goodwin cast 7 actors from all walks of life. In a non-traditional process, performers were cast not to fit certain roles but rather based on their abilities to share themselves in unique and authentic ways. Once assembled, performers collaborated with curators to manifest an original full-length play. We can't yet comment on the quality of the play as we've just begun writing it. What we can say is that already this process has surpassed any of our expectations. It is astounding what can be created by nine strangers, in just six short weeks.
