"Under the Bonnet" Live Outdoor Theatre Production
In commemoration of the Women's Suffrage Centennial, Beacon Theatre Productions is pleased to present four FREE live outdoor performances of "Under the Bonnet" by Shelli Pentimall Bookler. This one act play features three historical figures who worked for equal rights for all people and were participants at the first Women's Rights Conference in Seneca Falls, New York in 1848: Lucretia Mott, James Mott, & Frederick Douglass.
Directed by Steve Gaissert; Featuring Heather Plank, Robert Weick and Eric Carter
Tickets are FREE but we are requesting reservations in "household groups" in order to comply with socially distant protocols and to limit the number of attendees at each 30 minute performance. We welcome you to bring your own folding chairs. Wearing masks that cover your nose and mouth will be required and we will reserve seating (or a designated space for your chairs) for you and your household group 6 feet apart from others in the audience. We will contact you the day before the show through email to verify your reservation and with any further instructions that may be needed. (Rain date is August 30th.)
We request that you do not attend if you feel ill or have any of these symptoms:
cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, muscle pain, or new loss of taste or smell. We also request that you do not attend if you have had contact with someone with Covid-19 within 14 days of the performance.
Please make sure we have your correct email and phone # when making your reservation.
