Photo Transfer Workshop
Transferring your favorite photographs to a new material will make them displayable, gift-able and gives them a whole new exciting life.
Learn to transfer your photos to new mediums, including fabric, glass and polymer clay. The techniques you learn can also be used with wood, resin, and more! Artist and instructor Sonia Spotts has been teaching and creating art in Kansas City for over 25 years. With techniques learned, you can create unique, personalized art, jewelry, gifts, and life-long treasures.
Saturday, October 12, 1pm - 4pm Watkins Mill State Park's Visitors Center
What to bring: Please bring 1 to 3 photo copies (not original photos). They must be printed on a laser printer, on plain paper stock. If you have lettering or people in the photo, you will want to ask the printer to flip or mirror the image(s) for you. If you do this, when the image is transferred, it won't be reversed.
Because of the park's location, GPS devises and online maps programs often have trouble locating it. Please use driving directions on our website: http://www.watkinsmill.org/visit
