Burlesque Fan Dancing Workshop
Popularized by the ostrich feather fan dance act of Sally Rand in the 1930s, fan dance has become a globally-recognized staple of burlesque performance. On Saturday September 21st explore your sensuality, playfulness, inner-diva, and naughty side with this beautiful art form. You will learn all the basics of burlesque fan dance, enhance the grace and poise of your movement, and expand your musicality and acting skills. Special attention is given to hand and arm positions to achieve dancer lines. Perfect for beginners and dancers alike.
No stripping required. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Workshop length, 60 minutes.

About Instructor Madam C is the Director of Provocatease, Arizona's Burlesque and Vaudeville Sensation, & the Fire Director of Circus School of Arizona & Velocity Arts. Specializing in prop manipulation & dance, Madam C has been sharing her love of burlesque with students and audiences the past 5 years, and dance for the past 7 years.
