American Cinematheque's Road Trip to the Drive-In: RE-ANIMATOR / PET SEMATARY
Co-presented by Beyond Fest and the Mission Tiki Drive in Theatre!

Thursday, July 30  8:30 PM
The American Cinematheque's Summer Drive-In Series continues at the Mission Tiki Drive-In Theatre, located at 10798 Ramona Ave, Montclair, CA 91763. The event will include a double feature of RE-ANIMATOR / PET SEMATARY.

We recommend arriving up to an hour and a half before showtime, as the line for entering the lot can take a long time. We will have a music playlist to entertain you as you enter.
The drive-in opens at 7:30pm. There are several screens at the theatre (any lane gets you into any screen); Cinematheque signage will direct you to our event in Lot 3.

YOU MUST PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES! Please park your car in a checkerboard pattern.

About the films:

RE-ANIMATOR, 1985, AGFA, 86 min, USA, Dir: Stuart Gordon. Adapted from the H.P. Lovecraft tale of Herbert West, this mind-bending, darkly funny horror thriller was a breakout hit, establishing newcomer director Stuart Gordon as a force to be reckoned with. Impetuous researcher Jeffrey Combs develops a serum that can bring back the dead, something that his new roommate (Bruce Abbott) hadnt exactly bargained for. Delivers on every front with laughs, shocks and genuine shivers escalating until the outrageous, gore-drenched finale. With Barbara Crampton and David Gale.
PET SEMATARY, 1989, Paramount, 103 min, USA, Dir: Mary Lambert. Devoted family man Louis Creed (Dale Midkiff) is devastated when his son is killed in a horrible accident - but he soon learns that bringing the boy back to life has some terrifying side effects in this Stephen King classic. With Denise Crosby, Fred Gwynne and a terrific title song by the Ramones.
