Entropy Presents: IRON DAISIES. Choreography by Alicia Mullikin + Music by Daniel Mullikin. With performances by Danica Bito, Alyza DelPan Monley, Margaret Hotchkiss, and Carla Maria Negrete Martinez. Iron Daisies is an expression of memories and the significance they hold in our lives. Do we recall memories as delicately fleeting thoughts, or violently grasp them like dying breaths? With music as the through line, this performance bends the relationship between dance and accompaniment by having each dancer participate in creating the sound score. Using improvisational tactics and concepts, this technical work floats between a concert and a jam session triggered by memories.
