LONE PROPHET

DANTE is an average teenager in high school. He's good looking, captain of the track team, has a smart girl friend VICKI, and a best friend IVAN. One day while over Vicki's house, ICE storms in and arrests her and her family because they are undocumented immigrants. Suddenly confused about everything, he recoils into a deep depression and begins to realize that there's something deeper going on in his society and with his friendships. He starts to question everything and reevaluates his life. His friends are self deprecating, his mom is too busy, and no one seems to care enough about Vicky being deported. Tired of waiting around and doing nothing, he notices that the only person concerned with all of this is LP, outcast and also Vicki's friend. Dante and LP begin to team up but Ivan gets angry about this, worried that people will start to question Dante's reputation, thereby effecting his own. Dante comes of age in a world so concerned with material value that honest values are few and far in between. Will Dante be able to mature and leave his past behind, or will Ivan intervene and according to him, set things right again before it's too late?
