Don Bosco Prep NEWSIES 2020 - OUTDOORS
The Don Bosco Prep Theater Department and the cast and crew of NEWSIES presents a remounted production live and in-person at the heart of the DBP campus. Bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets and enjoy a Summer evening of theater as we celebrate the hard work of our students.
Inspired by the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899 in New York City, Newsies tells the tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenaged newsies. When powerful newspaper publishers raise distribution prices at the newsboys expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike for what is right.
Please BRING A PICNIC BLANKET OR LAWN CHAIRS for you and your family. We ask that you practice social distancing at all times throughout your visit on campus.
Please arrive 30 minutes early.
PLEASE NOTE: All state mandated COVID-19 precautions will be taken including but not limited to: temperature checks, use of face coverings, social distancing, sanitation stations, etc.
