Athena will be covering all the major Quilt Cover brands that Manchester Warehouse sell. She will go over the company's rage of major brands including their fibres, styles and styling.
Quilt cover Brands - Da Vinci
They have a base style, but every season the brand will come out with a curler where they change its direction a bit. Da Vinci definitely though is the higher end of the market for us and they are known for their lustrous, grand master bedroom aesthetic. Patterns, the traditional floral, they do the greek style print, they've got currently one called Cairo which is a bit out of this world, you know, with a pharaoh head cushion, its really over the top But high end, someone whos coming in and they're going to spend $1000 to makeover their bed. And that's where I was going with the idea that polyester can be high end, because that's going to give you the look.
Quilt Cover Brands KAS
Bright prints each season, you never see the same thing each year, they're really moving like a fast fashion sort of brand, and they dont generally do multiple colourways - some of their competitors will do design in say a pink colourway and then theyll also do it in a blue one. KAS dont generally do that at all. They're like one off crazy fashion driven prints. And they've also along the way, they've got other ranges.
There is also the KAS white range so the whole feature is just quilt covers which would be more apartment, loft style driven. They just tend to be on the mark in terms of just your 20 to 30 year old I guess bracket.
Quilt Cover Brands - Logan and Mason
Logan and Mason Lifestyle is high fashion. Again a lot of polyester/cotton in there, but they will repeat a design. So if they've got it in Essex stone, theyll do it in Essex linen, if that's something that has worked for them.
The Essex has been a design for them that they've had pretty much for as long as Ive been with the company for 14 years in stone. And then they reinvented so they have a charcoal as well a pewter. And so theyll keep their long running designs going but again they do have their high fashion, super crazy printed stuff including florals. So they're quite popular with your rental, your Airbnb type market, that look because you get longevity from the design and that quality too.
Logan and Mason Platinum is your all cotton natural brand of product. So youll get your waffle weave in there and they'll do a particular design, like theyll do a waffle in three or four colours.
Quilt cover brands - Sheridan
We have just the one quilt cover online right now anyway which is a 1200 thread count. You know a plain, luxe essential natural looking master bedroom quilt.
The Sheridan name I think is a big calling card and its timeless so the person. This quilt cover starts from $396 and that's our sale price.
Quilt Cover Brands - Linen House
Linen House is probably our biggest selling brand I would say. What they will do is they will bring out a design like Haze and its been a while, and so then every year theyll add to it with a different colour and theyll discontinue a colour. They are probably your most mainstream - I guess its like your middle ground. So when you think about your Logan and Mason Lifestyle, its probably a little below this, and then Linen House is sort of the middle ground before you get into your Private collection and your Da Vinci up higher end. It is a different market, this is a younger, you know, your 25 to 35 or even 40 odd market.
They're a great company all round because they dabble in everything. So you can get cushions from them, you can get Quilt Covers from them. So they try and match black into their range every season, everything sort of coordinates.
