Make Your Own Halloween Costume
Its almost October, so what better to create / upcycle* than your own costume? Bring your best-worst prom gown, bridesmaid dress, wedding dress, or flashy dress of any kind to turn into a truly fabulous and unique costume. A few ideas for your costume: zombie prom queen, devil, mortician, vampire, angel, super hero or mermaid. We will provide all you need, including sewing machines and cutting tables.
Not to worry if you're not the best seamstress? We will show you basic sewing techniques, will be available to help and answer any questions you may have. We also have a storehouse of dresses available for an additional fee. Please come by ahead of time to pick out a dress; so you can be assured that you have what you need to create the base to your costume.
*Upcycling adds value to clothing and accessories through creativity...transforming unwanted clothing and accessories into desired garments and creations to be loved and worn again.
