Guest Speaker Riley Fields, Carolina Panthers
Please join us in celebration of National Philanthropy Day with guest speaker, Riley Fields. Mr. Fields will convey how using the spirit of giving back builds a better community and the importance of appreciation given to supporters. He will share his inspiring experience of Carolina Panthers supporting the Carolinas.
As a liaison between the Panthers and the community, Mr. Fields works to develop programs and partnerships that address the special needs of communities throughout the Carolinas. Under Riley's direction, the community relations department coordinates the team's outreach programming, Carolina Panthers Charities, player appearances, merchandise donations. Prior to joining the Panthers in March 2003, Riley spent seven years as marketing specialist for Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation.
A native of Charlotte, Riley graduated from the University of Georgia in 1988 with a degree in journalism and earned a masters degree in sport management from the University of Massachusetts in 1993. Riley and his wife, Robin, have a daughter, Grace Elizabeth. They live in Charlotte, North Carolina.
