The Masarap Supper Club of New York is pleased to announce it's premiere fall dinner event, "Manila on the Move", on Saturday, September 21, 2013. The venue is a spectacular Upper East Side mansion formerly owned by the infamous Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos.
The historic manor is now property of the Philippine government - families of diplomats from the United Nations and Philippine Consulate call it home. These fine Filipino folks have invited you to join Masarap as we re-imagine Filipino cuisine in a way that reflects the trends that are happening in the finest kitchens at restaurants across NYC.
The evening starts with a cocktail hour, with one-of-a-kind cocktails and a bounty of canapés. Following, join us in a cavernous dining room for a six-course sit-down meal replete with wine. Help the Masarap trio, Chefs Norman D., Robert K. & Allister K. summon the ghosts of the opulent soirées past hosted by the shoe-hoarding former First Lady.
