WTS September Program- Enhancing Walkability in Tucson
Presentation focusing on pedestrian issues in the region, and what is being done to improve walking conditions. We are all pedestrians and yet, traditionally, pedestrian issues have largely been ignored. Presenters will share information on the new pedestrian-related initiatives as they relate to the public, non-profit, and private sectors.
Presenters include:
Emily Yetman- Executive Director of Living Streets Alliance, Walkability Campaign
Ann Chanecka- Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator at the City of Tucson, Pedestrian Safety
Tim Johnson- Principal/ Landscape Architect with The Planning Center, Urgan Streetscapes Design Manual
