The Joy of Cheese Presents When in Rome...
Please join us at Nectar Wine Bar, 2235 Frederick Douglass Blvd, on Sunday October 19 at 1:30 and Wednesday October 22nd at 6:30 for a survey of some of the finest Italian cheeses. We will sample the work of Cravero, Cora, Guffanti and Madaio, all makers of exceptional cheeses. The preliminary lineup includes Calcagno, a deeply floral Saridinian pecorino, Blu Di Bacco, a fabuloulsly peppery leaf wrapped blue from Tuscany, and Bra Duro, a fruity Piedmontese cow's milk cheese.
Overall we will taste 12-14 remarkable cheeses. The events run about 90 minutes and there will be five sample size pours of wines from the superb Nectar Wine list to accompany the cheeses.
