Company Class with Winifred Haun
Company Class (Intermediate Advanced Modern Dance)
Wednesdays 10:30am to 11:30am
Starting Wed., May 6
Every Wednesday till June 3
(if it goes well, we'll continue thru the summer!)
This class is for experienced dancers, ages 14 to 90. All classes will be on Facebook Live.
The class begins with sun salutations and other warm-up exercises. We then progress to Graham based floor work, where we focus on strengthening and stretching our torso. Then, we stand and do plies, tendus,, degages, simple combinations, grand battements and jumps.
The pace is quick (not a lot of explanation), and presumes that you can follow Graham technique and other exercises.
