In response to the unprecedented situation with the Coronavirus, the Nursery and the Maydays are moving their joint improvisation classes online with immediate effect. We believe improvisation is a very useful way to connect with people and can help us to keep perspective and balance in these challenging and confusing times. We want to continue offering people this, even if the medium is slightly changed.
These morning classes are half the length and half the price of our regular online drop-in classes and will be a quick blast of improvised playtime and connection with others to kick off your day the right way. These sessions are open to both beginners and more experienced improvisers and will run 3 mornings a week from 10am-11am.

Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10am - 11am

Who is it for?
The morning sessions are wide ability classes and specifically aimed at those looking for an energetic and playful hour of improv games and scenes. The atmosphere is accessible, fun and non-judgemental.
Who is teaching it?
For variety, the teachers will each session. All teachers are either from The Maydays or The Nursery Theatre and are highly experienced improvisers and teachers.
How much is it?
£5+ booking fee per class, bookable in advance here.
How do I join an online class?
There is simply a link for you to click, which will be included in your booking summary email once youve bought your place.
These shorter classes will have a limit of 20 participants.
Please note that the Nursery who ticket these events cannot refund tickets after purchase. The minimum age for all Nursery classes is 18.
Please also note that classes start on time and if you are more than 15 minutes late without letting us know, you may not be able to join the class, as you will have missed warmups. This is at the teachers discretion.
Please check the date and title of this event carefully as we are unable to issue any refunds except in case of cancellation by the Nursery.
