The pandemic may have kept us away from holding our annual egg hunt but weve found a solution! On Easter Sunday a Maplewood Area Historical Society volunteer will hand out gift bags with candy-filled eggs, Peeps and a stuffed animal. All you have to do is sign up for a time to pick up your bag. We are allowing 15 cars per hour to enter our parking lot. The Easter Bunny will be maintaining social distancing but will wave for photos! This is open to children ages 2 to 11.
There is no cost for the gift bags, but you do need to reserve your spot and the number of children who will be with you. Gift bag handouts will be hourly at 11:00am, 12:00pm, and 1:00pm. We will be taking all precautionary measures to make sure this is a safe event. We will be accepting freewill donations (by cash or check made payable to MAHS) and there will be a donation box on a table if you wish to support us.
Also, enter our prize drawing! To enter, have your children fill out a slip of paper with their name, age, phone number, and gender and give to the MAHS volunteers. Winners will be notified by phone if they have won a prize and when they can pick it up.
