Survivor Khurshida Begum is an authentic, powerful speaker, with a unique and compelling story. What Khurshida has overcome in her personal life will not only inspire the audience, but will motivate them to make a difference by fighting human trafficking and many other social justice issues. As a speaker, Khurshida captivates and inspires audiences with her contagious energy, empathy and sense of humor. She is engaging with her audience, relating her often difficult but triumphant story for the purpose of changing old behaviors and thoughts into positive and individual accountability. She says, "We must live up to the standards of God's love and not our own ego and control, to truly fight social injustice.
Salmon dinner included in ticket price. Opportunity to give to programs fighting human trafficking will be presented. Doors open at 4:15pm for information/networking time, followed by program from 5:00 - 6:30pm
