Food Not Bombs Concert Fundraiser
Columbia Food Not Bombs has shared food with people for more than 10 years, mirroring Columbia's values of caring for everyone in the community. The Look In The Mirror Concert on September 8, at Conundrum Music Hall, is set to help Columbia FNB in this endeavor. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
"While not everyone will feel the pangs of hunger, we all can look in the mirror feeling healthy, alive and generous," says emcee John Starino, a performance poet and author, best-known around Columbia, SC for his Beer Poem. The concert features local group Stillhouse, joined by John and Karrie Scollon. The talents of singer/songwriters Jon Coxe and Russell Goodman (from the band Dr. Roundhouse), Earl Turner, Tonya Tyner, and Keith Bates will also be in the spotlight.
