  Local Nutritionist and southern gal, Victoria LaFont brings us down home with a special night to remember filled with the real deal, the original, the soul food goodness of southern comfort.

  After growing up on a rural Kentucky diet of Crisco and white flour, Victoria LaFont ventured out to see the world and find some real answers regarding her poor health.  Ten years ago she hitchhiked to her salvation when she stumbled upon a community focused on the principles of healing through whole foods, clean water and plenty of Hawai'ian sunshine.  EVentually Victoria began to explore the mysteries of biochemistry and the technical and spiritual wonders of the human body.  She holds degrees in applied anthropology, professional writing, music, and most recently nutritional therapy.  She lives and practices in Nevada City, CA, and moonlights in Kentucky when the weather is good.

 "The Southern Comfort Paladar is my bow to the delish food that my mama made for me growing up.  We're having onion, tomato and cucumber salad in sweet vinegar dressing, fried chicken and livers, mashed potatoes and real dill pickles, sliced watermelon with salt, fried okra, collards and homemade malt vinegar, white beans and ham hock with real ketchup, and peach cobbler and fried pies for dessert."

 This meal is NOT for vegetarians at all.  All food will be organic, dairy free, gluten free, soy free and corn free.  All foods will be deep fried in coconut oil, the most stable oil suitable for hot temps.

 Please be aware of which seating you are securing your seats for.  There is a 5pm and an 8pm seating.  The menu is subject to change even up to the last minute, but the dietary descriptions above will not.

 Live music is still to be determined.
