The Kansas City Kink and Leather Unconference
Have you ever wanted to share what you've learned in your journey and what you're most passionate about? How about choose from a unique and plentiful selection of classes based on your interests in the moment without feeling obligated to stay for the whole thing if it's not for you?
If you're kinky or you like leather (or rope, or flogging, or anything really) have we got the weekend event for you. For folks who already know everybody and everything, its a chance to see it all differently and share what you've learned. For folks who are quiet or new, it's an unparalleled opportunity to see a lot of things at once and get to know folks at their best in a zero-pressure environment. It's a free-flowing non-hierarchical learning environment you've gotta see to believe.
The Kansas City Kink and Leather Unconference is a kinky weekend event founded on the principles of Open Space Learning that follows in the footsteps of Graydancer's GRUEs.
Our first event of what we hope will become an annual tradition will be held at IX Kansas City, a local kink venue located just west of downtown Kansas City. Because we're located in the heart of the midwest, it starts and ends with shared meals.
THIS EVENT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
* (7-9 pm)Friday night Meet and Greet potluck
* (10 am-6 pm) a full day of learning at our daytime Unconference on Saturday including light breakfast snacks and a picnic-style lunch.
* (8 pm - midnight) Saturday night private party and skill-share
* (10 am - 1 pm) Sunday morning brunch
COST:
The entire weekend will cost $45. Locals can earn vouchers towards their admission by volunteering at IX Kansas City work days to clean up and support their local space.
