Equal Justice Society 2008 Annual Gala
The Equal Justice Society 2008 Annual Gala takes place on Friday, December 5, 2008, from 6 p.m. to Midnight at the Regency Center, 1290 Sutter Street, San Francisco. EJS will honor National Center for Lesbian Rights executive director Kate Kendall, Arcus Foundation senior program officer Alvin Starks, Legal Services of Northern California managing attorney William Kennedy, the San Francisco Latino & Black Union Carpenters at La Raza Centro Legal. The gala will also feature a preview of Eva Paterson's documentary "Presidential Race," an encore performance of the band Unintended Consequences and dancing with DJ Vina Ha. Tickets are $125 for general admission, $75 for EJS members with free admission for children.
