This woodland management day course will be led by a professional forester.
We will be correctly cutting and clearing trees for a path, learning how to prune and coppice different tree species and trying out different ways to use the wood after sustainably harvesting.
This course is subsidized by the Three Hares Woodland. We ask for donations as suggested below. Any donations support us to sustain our community woodland.

TRANSPORT: No 37 and47 bus from Princess St. /Nicholson. Get off at Glencorse barracks in 35-40 mins (£1.70) and follow map to woodland - through Auchendinny housing estate, under a bridge, over the old aqueduct and woodland on the left of cycle path (will make more sense when actually walking...)
If driving you can park at Glencorse Community Centre and walk from there. DO NOT PARK PAST THE COMMUNITY CENTRE. see posted map below to make your way there.
