Bio of Speaker:

I am a fourth generation California native. I grew up in Marin County and moved to Sonoma County as a teen. I married the love of my life, Steve Lockwood, and we are fortunate to have two wonderful boys who are now married to wonderful women, and we have three amazing granddaughters, all living in Santa Rosa. I earned my associate degree at Santa Rosa Junior College and my bachelor's degree at Cal State Dominguez Hills. I went on to successfully complete a certificate in financial planning from Pepperdine University and to pass the CFP® exam in July of 2019, attaining the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner™*. My passion, outside of helping individuals be as prepared as possible for their
financial future, is helping young people to be as prepared as possible for their future as adults. I am currently serving on the board and as an adult mentor for Santa Rosa Assembly of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls, a Masonic youth group. It is my privilege and pleasure to learn what is most important to my clients, and to partner with them throughout their lifetime, helping to keep them on track to meet their financial goals.
